National Task Force for "Implementing of Patient Blood Management" in Sri Lanka 

As per the invitation of the Sri Lanka College of Anesthesiologists and Intensivists of Sri Lanka, Prof S H Dodampahala, the President representing the Sri Lanka College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists participated in the formulation of the National Task Force for “Implementing of Patient Blood Management” in Sri Lanka. Dr U D P Ratnasiri was also among the participants.

The event was held on 25th January 2023 at the Conference room, Castle Street Hospital for Women, from 9.00 am to 12.00. Dr Klaus Gorlinger and Dr Ajay Gandhi, who are world-renowned researchers in Patient Blood Management, joined the meeting to discuss the strategies for the implementation of PBM in Sri Lanka.
