Presidential Induction of the 38th President of the SLCOG, 2024
The ceremonial induction of the 38th President of the Sri Lanka College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists for 2024, Dr Mangala Dissanayaka was held on the 25th January 2024 at the Grand Ballroom, Hotel Galadari.
The ceremony was presided over by the Chief Guest, Dr Palitha Mahipala, Secretary of Health, Guests of Honour Dr Anula Wijesundera, Senior Consultant Physician and Dr Asela Gunawardena, Director General of Health Services.
Traditionally, the patron of the SLCOG Prof W I Amarasinghe presented Dr Mangala Dissanayaka with the president’s medal and handed over the new presidency.
