"Cardiac day" - Mini-Symposium on Heart Disease Complications in Pregnancy

The Sri Lanka College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists in collaboration with the Sri Lanka College of Cardiologists, successfully concluded the “Cardiac Day” mini-symposium on Heart Disease Complications in Pregnancy” on 4th of April 2024 at the Samson Rajapakse Auditorium, SLCOG house.

With the participation of over 150 doctors in Obstetric, Gynaecology and Cardiology specialities, this full-day symposium was successfully concluded. The sessions were conducted by renowned Consultants, Professors and University lecturers in respective subject fields. This valuable knowledge-sharing session was directed by Dr Prabhodana Ranaweera, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, on behalf of SLCOG and Dr Sampath Hewawasam, Consultant Cardiologist, on behalf of SLCC.

Dr Mangala Dissanayaka (President SLCOG), Dr Tanya Pereira (President SLCC) and Dr Harendra Dassanayake ( Consultant Community Physician, FHB) addressed the gathering at the inauguration.
