Dr Rohana Haththotuwa Oration 2026 

The Dr Rohana Haththotuwa oration was initiated as a tribute to the service rendered and
to mark the contribution made by Dr Rohana Haththotuwa to reproductive health in Sri
Lanka.

This prestigious oration was held at the day 02 of the 59th Annual Academic Congress of the
SLCOG 2026 at University of Colombo Faculty of Medicine (UCFM) Tower, Colombo.
The orator was Clinical Prof. Sanath Lanerolle, Past President, SLCOG who spoke on “Beyond
the Blade: Silent Scars: Reclaiming Health, Rights, and Dignity”

The head table embraced by the Past Patron – SLCOG, Dr (Mrs) Marlene Abeyewardena,
President, Prof Rukshan Fernandopulle, Orator, Clinical Prof Sanath Lanerolle and Chairman
Scientific Activities &  Research, Dr A Sritharan.
