As I step into the role of the 39th  President of the Sri Lanka College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (SLCOG), I am deeply honored by the trust you have placed in me. Having been a proud member of this esteemed College for 22 years and serving on its Council since 2008,

its inception in 1953 has grown from strength to strength due to the hard work, dedication and talent of its vibrant membership.
